Bridgeway consists of a select group of deeply experienced operators and investors. Every member of our team has served as CEO or CFO of a thriving lower middle market business or is a professional investor. Our group includes multiple Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winners and a deep bench of entrepreneurial talent interested in serving as board members. In total, we have completed more than 50 transactions representing $2 billion in transaction value. We believe we are best suited to run your company because we’ve stood in your shoes. We care about the business you’ve built and will see that it continues to grow and thrive.
Bridgeway is led by Greg Sanker, an experienced operating executive with a history of working with closely-held businesses. Prior to forming Bridgeway, Greg worked as CFO of Soft-Lite, an Akron-based building materials company that was family-owned for more than 80 years. At Soft-Lite, he helped grow sales and EBITDA to their highest levels in the history of the company. He also worked as COO of a venture-backed technology business and has more than five years of private equity investing and investment banking experience. Greg received an MBA in Finance and Accounting from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and earned a BA with honors, cum laude, in Economics from New York University. Greg is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Roy is the owner of Clarity Industries and the former President, CEO, and Co-Owner of Soft-Lite. In 1997, Roy acquired the business from its original family owners and grew EBITDA nearly 500% through largely organic growth initiatives. Over 90% of Soft-Lite’s original employees and customers remained with the company under Roy’s leadership. Prior to Soft-Lite, Roy worked as CEO and COO of Caradon Better-Bilt and Caradon North America, respectively. Roy is a Chartered Accountant (CA).
